Upward African Woman (UAW) cordially invites you to attend the UAW 2023 Annual Gala and Fundraiser where you will enjoy an amazing evening immersed in the celebration of African culture, music, and food. For years, UAW’s programs have and continue to provide services that have transformed the lives of women, youth, and, children through education, mentoring, and community development.
This event is one of the highlights of UAW’s efforts to raise awareness of the organization as well as commitments from those who wish to become sponsors and partners . Help UAW continue to build and increase its impact - our goal this year is $250,000, with $150,000 dedicated to expanding EXPOSE LA, our STEM program serving the inner city right here in Los Angeles.
Let’s work together to shift the paradigm to help those needing to get out of poverty and hopelessness in Los Angeles and Africa.
